Rob bought this 1979 Chris Craft Catalina Sport Fisher from us about a year ago and we helped him get her down to Marina Del Rey. Since then Rob spent about $8,000 on new canvas and he just paid us pretty well to install a pair of Fresh Water Cooled Chevy 454 Crusaders, along with Edlebrock intakes, Edlebrock carburetors, Mallory electronic distributors, MSD coils and Borg Warner transmissions. These are really nice engines and I ran them at the dock for several hours, but have not yet taken the boat on a sea trial since installing the engines. There is a little more work to go but most people should be able to tell how good the engines are by listening. The boat has an easy to transfer Marina Del Rey slip, in a good location where you can live aboard if you want. I think Rob wants about $22,500 for the boat which is actually a pretty good deal.
